Earth Day 2010 - April 22, 2010


In celebration of Earthday 2010, artists from Greenmuseum will be featured this month.  In particular, the work of international artist Urs-P. Twellman from Switzerland is currently on display at the EarthArt exhibit at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario. The Earthart exhibit includes one of a kind environmental art installations by various international artists.

Learn to recycle with Paper Mache


Make your own ornaments or other fun projects using recycled papers. You can use Newspaper, stationary, gift wrap, or any paper you have left over. Once you make the mixture, form the PAPER MÂCHÉ into shapes, let it dry, and paint it!

Learn 2 Make Homemade Paper!




Making your own paper is fun, easy, and a delightful project for the weekends. Note that this 2torial won't teach you to make printer-quality office paper (although you can recycle used office paper to make your own new paper)--it'll teach you to create pages of personalized pulp upon which to pen your powerful sentiments. Why? Homemade paper lends a distinctive personal touch to any project from greeting cards to a personal note or letter. And it's much easier than it sounds once you draw off a page or two.
