Creating a William Wegman Collage

"Little Red 1999," by William Wegman

Artist William Wegman is famous for this photographs of compositions with Weimaraner dogs.  Wegman born in Holyoke, Massachusetts in 1943, still has a fascination with humanizing animals and has made a living dressing up dogs.  The Weimaraners’ expressionless faces are atop the clothes of a jester, a king, or in this case, Little Red Riding Hood.

Wegman has created several photographs and videos of his dogs which can be seen at various galleries throughout Europe, Asia and the United States.

In 1997, Wegman created a video collection featuring Mother Goose stories starring the Weimaraner dogs.

During the late 80s to the 1990s, Wegman made several videos for the Children's Television show, "Sesame Street."  Below is a clip about two dogs baking homemade bread.
